Dear Music Teachers, Parents, and Students,
Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra is thrilled to announce new PVYO North Music Ensembles for the 2024-2025 school year! PYVO North will offer a challenging and engaging experience for talented musicians in Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, and Urbana. This is a great opportunity to join the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra program and participate in an outstanding local ensemble. The deadline for enrollment is October 1.
The inaugural season will be led by Mr. Robert Dahlin, PVYO Conductor for 23 years and a music educator with 32 years in MCPS. Known for his enthusiasm and dedication to students, Mr. Dahlin has taught at Ridgeview, Hoover, and Hallie Wells Middle Schools, conducted numerous MCPS Honors Ensembles, and was the 2006-2007 MCPS Teacher of the Year.
